10 Dimensions of our world [video]

A little bit of brain exercise. Imagining the 10th dimension, or imagining dimensions above 4th which is time.

Rob Bryanton in this video explains what does 10 dimension of our world means. 1o dimensions are created by humans to describe the world they are in, taking it to the bounds of describing all possible universes within all possible times.

I wonder in how many dimension we can describe cyberspace.
If I am first dimension, connecting me to the other internet user directly is 2nd dimension (etc. email)… I’ll continue maybe one day 🙂

  2. I would say, that we can describe cyberspace in as many dimensions as we want because it is not the same dimensions as used in the presentation.

Let’s say 1st dimension will be all users in the internet (eg, IP address). 2nd dimension could be connection protocol. 3rd dimension could be interface (or client) that will be used. And so on…

Then we can describe point in our 3d “cyberspace” like:
User from 66.249.66.1 used HTTP protocol and presented itself using Mozilla/5.0.

Connection between this point and another point describing your blog would be a “line” or event when Google Bot accessed your blog.

Adding extra dimension like time would distinguish such event that happened today from similar event that happened yesterday.

Enjoy expanding the universe of cyberspace!
