200 million FPS camera

What a camera that is. Imagine you seeing thing in 200 million fps, you would be able to see a tiniest fraction of a moment… at least by our measures. So 200 million fps means 5 e-9 seconds per frame.
This kind of thing is surely good for military but scientist get the magic work for them too… Basiclly camera is faster then most of the fast moving objects and explosions so you can take a close look what is happening.

    none of the videos are “DRS Imacon
    You can take a look at gallery of videos that are trully amazing.” and none of the videos are more than 16,000 fps…

  2. charles says:

    at 200 million frames per second, to watch 1 second of footage at a playback of 30fps it would take 6,666,666, 111,111 minutes, 1851 hours or 77 days.

    assuming i did the math right;

    200,000,000 / 30 = 6,666,666
    6,666,666 / 60 = 111,111
    111,111 / 60 = 1851
    1851 / 24 = 77

    so watching an explosion will take a year or 2 lol
